What is the reasoning behind these unannounced/unconfirmed "silent cancellations you guys have been doing lately? I know solicitations were originally intended for retailers only but hey that aint the case anymore. Why abandon announcing a title is cancelled like you guys use to?

To be honest, I don’t really know why there were ever announcements about cancellations–it certainly doesn’t help us any. But that said, you may be seeing cancellations where no cancellations exist, based on your own incorrect filling in of some blanks.
