  • At the end of the first page of Infinity on Titan (the first page of the FCBD issue, third story page of Infinity #1), Corvus Glaive asks: "The gauntlet of the tribute?". Thanos makes a gesture, and a caption says: "The tribute." I am entirely confused by this exchange. Is the question supposed to read "the gauntlet OR the tribute"?

No, that caption is correct. In this instance, gauntlet is used in its classic meaning, that of a test or challenge. So Corvus is asking whether Thanos wants to subject the Earth to the challenge of the tribute, and Thanos is giving his ascent.
