But the main book IS the real thing. That’s not disingenuous at all. It sounds like what you really want is for it to be 19-whatever again. And that’s fine, everybody has their own tastes–but that’s also what back issues and reprint collections are for. And creative teams and approaches change over time, if you don’t like Jonathan’s AVENGERS, maybe you’ll prefer whomever comes after him. Or maybe you won’t.
