  • Comparing tangible comic collected editions often priced at anywhere from 20 to 50 dollars to the offer for thousands of comics at pennies on the dollar doesn't really address the point I make about digital comics, does it? There's a reason for example that Masterworks cost more than essentials, the added color and paper give it additional value. That Marvel is offering thousands of comics digitally for pennies gives me the impression they have less value.

    I can’t help that that’s your impression. Does the existence of quarter boxes in comic shops or at conventions give you the impression that your tangible books are similarly worthless?
