++, if sales were good, why would we be looking to change things? ++ Wouldn't Captain America be running around with giant boobs, tiny feet and wings on his forehead if that was the case? Or what if the pitch a writer brought to a book was solid, but their execution doesn't use their ideas to the fullest potential? What if a writer is knocking it out of the park on one of their books, but another doesn't have quite the same "Oomph"? Aren't there times when sales are Good but could be Great?

Sure, there are always times when sales could be better, and there’s always something that could be improved. But making those improvements doesn’t typically mean changing your creative team every issue or two. You do that, and you end up with a line that looks like DC’s right now, where few books have any feeling of stability and direction.
