Shouldn't the New X-men have graduated by now? I know you're flexible with the timeline and everything, but it strains credibility somewhat that everything since "Planet X" has taken place in less than four years. And that's even spotting you the dubious assumption that they were all at least freshmen when they were introduced.
Given that the New Mutants, the Cockrum crew and now even the original class are still hanging around that damned school, I don’t know that this is any less difficult to swallow. It certainly makes it more likely that they’ll turn up in stories.
