i'm confused- you say marvel charges a similar sum for digital comics because of their inherent value as reading material justifies the same price as tangible print comics. yet I'm being bombarded with ads for marvel digital comics unlimited on facebook and it's thousands of older comics readable for like ten bucks a month. Do you see how a reader would be hard pressed to consider digital comics as being equal value if you guys don't consistently treat them as equal value?

We also reprint our tangible comics in collections that are priced differently depending on what they are–that doesn’t change the inherent value of them as reading material, though, it simply gives you more options. To use a different analogy, I don’t feel as though they should let me into the movies for free because I have a Netflix account and eventually those films will all be available for me to stream for a few bucks a month. If digital isn’t the way you like getting your comics, then you should pursue tangible copies in whatever format appeals to you.
