I won't use your formspring as a pulpit for denouncing writers who's work I'm disappointed in, (nor would I expect you to showcase it), but at this point, do you have a vibe for which Marvel Now! books aren't quite working as hoped, & if so, do you address it by changing creative teams, or does everything revolve around sales? To put it another way, if you were at DC, and knew in your heart which New52 titles were really dire, would you continue to publish them as-is because sales were strong?
Turning that back around on you, if sales were good, why would we be looking to change things? The job of the books isn’t to appeal to me, it’s to appeal to the widest audience possible. Which is to say that I don’t need to love every book that we publish, so long as enough other people do.
