Considering the FF is really the last apologetically romantic book at marvel or DC I think you could do a breakup of Reed and Sue and do a year of Reed trying to win her back.
I don’t think the FF is apologetically anything–if it’s a romantic series, then it simply is that. But putting that aside, yes, you could do a storyline like that, and you might even be able to make it good. But it’s not of terrible interest to me.
