  • Why is Marvel pushing away its long-time fan base? Most of the books are so bad, and the characters unrecognizable, the we long-time fans have no reason to stick around. I used to spend about $150 -$200 a month on Marvel product and now I spend $6. While I agree that any business should look to bring in new customers, current customer retention is equally important, and in this area you are failing. The very people that have the most to spend are the ones you are driving away.

It sounds as though there are things about the books that we’re publishing right now that you don’t care for, but your comment is so broad that it’s difficult to discern exactly what stuff that is. but rest assured, our goal is to produce excellent comics and stories for everyone–not for one audience to the exclusion of another.
