Hi Tom, I remember on your old blog you mentioned that you weren't that big a fan of The Dark Knight Returns after the first issue and was just wondering if your view has changed over the years, and also how do you rate Year One?

Well, I certainly like it more in hindsight. I didn’t not like it at the time, but I felt it wandered pretty far away from being a Batman story. Still a great piece of work. And I like Year One as well–although there is one figure of Batman running in, I think, Part Two that cracks me up every time I see it, as he looks so ridiculous.
