Tom, you say that the blame lies in the fans regarding the low selling of female lead books, but you don't find it odd that prior to X-Men, most female books never have big name writers? Half the time, looking at Marvel books especially, if it doesn't have a really strong/known writer attached, its usually destined to fail.
You guys keep saying “blame”, which wasn’t a word I used at all. Let me say it again: If female-lead books don’t succeed, it’s because you guys aren’t buying them. There’s no blame involved–that’s simply a statement of fact.
