Tom, I'm sure you guys thought nothing of it at the time, but did no one have a problem with Captain America beating the shit out of the only Native American in AvX (Warpath) and then be extremely condescending to him?

No, not especially. And I don’t think that Cap was any more condescending to him than to anybody else–or than anybody else in that story was to anybody else. In other words, we treated Warpath as a character, just like any other character.
