I think Bendis is totally reinvigorated by the X-books but I don't see how ANXM is anywhere close to Hawkeye, FF (which has really found its legs the last few months), Daredevil (the last issue was so brilliant and the arc before it just as brilliant), Young Avengers, or frankly, Gillen's run on Uncanny which was the best in decades. It's good, but with the current high level of Marvel output, I don't think #1 is even in sight for it. That's just me though.
Everybody’s tastes are going to be a little bit different, of course. But hey, it’s nice to have enough really good Marvel books coming out that we can debate this kind of thing, isn’t it?
