New Brevoort Formspring

I live in one of the countries where Marvel comics are published by Panini, and generally it's their mixes, hardcovers and trades that I buy. I was wondering if my money counts in supporting the series I buy (that is, the ones that haven't been cancelled by the time they arrive here, about 9-10 months, at least, after they are published in the US), or if that's more indirect, in the sense that it's the license or whatever that Panini pays that ends up counting?
