Justice League once again has higher sales than the Avengers books. There is a reason for this - better writing and much better art. Currently, anyone who happens to drop on by becomes an Avenger. The unique aspect of the title and characters is gone, and the books are boring, the only exception being New Avengers.

I’m going to try to resist the urge to be snarky here and not point out some of the folks who are currently appearing in Justice League books (or the fact that the most recent issue was really an issue of Captain Marvel.) Because if you like the book, great–you absolutely should read it! And you’ll forgive me for rejoicing that the Avengers are so popular that the franchise can support so many different series, with so many different approaches. Something for everybody.
