I know (or presume) you don't have a say over digital policy, but I'd just like to point out that I buy books on Comixology after the price drops to $1.99. The first issues of Immonen's JiM and Parker's Red She-Hulk are still $2.99. So because of that delay in price drop, which ONLY Marvel does, presumably to protect Marvel Unlimited, those books were both cancelled BEFORE I had the opportunity to buy them in my preferred format. That kinda blows!

Not really. You need to manage your finances, and you made choices about your entertainment spending based on those realities. And while that was going on, we made choices about our publishing realities based on those factors. Everybody loves a bargain, but if you’re going to wait for the bargain price, you need to count on there being enough other readers who want that story right away, enough to underwrite the costs of the material. If there aren’t, then the books are going to go away–same as if you’re waiting until a show hits Netflix or goes into reruns before watching it might have an impact on how long it runs.
