I'm a long time havok fan and recently... He is now being labeled a villian and bad guy because of how rememder wrote him in uncanny avengers #5 and it burns me to see havok as a bad guy now.. I have my own opinion and support the way remender wrote him and really feel Bendis made kitty pride naive in her view. I don't see people going into public places announcing their race and sexual preference.. And religion and political alignment and asking if anyone has a problem with itwe're humans first
There’s no way to control what some fans are going to think about a particular character, and every character has his adherents and detractors. Havok is no different in this regard. Heck, for years, Cyclops was viewed as a stiff and a jerk who should just shut up and let Wolverine do whatever cool thing he wanted to do. There are people who think that Captain America is a control freak, that Iron Man is a Nazi, that Spider-Man is a whiner. But all of that doesn’t matter–all of it is fair game in the eyes of the audience. The important thing is that we don’t write Havok as a bad guy, any more than Cyclops or Captain America or Iron Man or Spider-Man. So you get to like whomever you like.
