  • Except the new characters created were just cardboard copies of the dead heroes. Jimmy Hudson is my main concern, Loeb just killed Wolverine in order to introduce a younger version... Wait, he's BLOND. He even made some ridiculous excuse to make his claws metallic. Why didn't he just create Ult. Daken or X-23? There were oportunities for excellent Ultimate twists, like making X-23 the actual daughter of Wolverine. Too bad the only not Ultimate-original replacement was forgotten (Scott Lang)

I’m afraid that I can’t agree that Jimmy Hudson is the same as Ultimate Wolverine–he’s no more so than Daken or X-23. But I get that the real issue here is that you’d like to have Ultimate Wolverine alive and in the books again. But at least so far, I’m afraid that’s not going to happen. We’ve stood by the rule that dead is dead in the Ultimate Universe, and that means that you need to take the bad with the good when it comes to fatalities, just as in real life.
