What do superheroes (and villains) do with their old costumes? I know some have origins based on finding old costumes that were thrown away, but do most keep them? I like to imagine Clint having the old skirt hidden in a box in some closet somewhere.

I don’t imagine that many super hero costumes are in great shape after a few months being worn on the kinds of adventures we put our heroes through. How often do you see our guys with torn or tattered apparel, after all?
