  • Hey Tom! Just read the comment from the very brave Anonymous soul who asked about the Falcon and Jeph Loeb. My question is how do you, and Marvel at large, deal with the cynicism of choices that add more diversity to the Marvel Universe? (i.e. Mighty Avengers, Miles Morales, the Falcon). Also, has fear of backlash that may affect sales, ever stop you from making such decisions?

    We don’t really worry about it, to be honest, if we have a story that we think is worth telling and creators who are excited about telling it. There’s always going to be people who are cynical about absolutely everything that we do–we live in a very cynical age, after all.
