I've been hunting down old Timely and Atlas comics and been wondering if you guys still have the rights to those characters like Waku Prince of the Bantu Nation, Marvex the Super Robot, Masked Raider, etc. I know some of the Timely characters would show up in comics like The Invaders or The Twelve in flashbacks mostly in the background but never used more than that. So is it simply writers not bringing them up to put in stories or that they can't?

We can still use any of those older characters, if we want to. But for the most part you’re speaking about characters who made three or four 8-page appearances seventy years ago, and that nobody apart from the super-versed hardcore Timely fans remember. In other words, there’s no great impel to bring those guys back. We do it from time to time anyway–we’ve seen more of these guys again in the last 10 years than the 50 before that–but that doesn’t mean that we’re looking to resurrect absolutely everybody.
