Tom, the guy complaining about covers didn't have many good points, but I kinda agree with him. While there are certainly plenty of covers that are great released monthly, not many of them seem like they'll be as iconic as some past covers are. To be completely honest, I'd say like 75% of them are forgettable, although thats true for the classic style of covers that that guy wants back as well...

75% of anything is forgettable–actually, a 25% hit-ratio would be pretty good. But if you were to go back and look at all of the other covers that were on sale alongside your favorite iconic cover, in most cases you’d find that they had all been lost to the mists of time as well.
