I don't want to start trouble, but I find it hard to work up much sympathy for creators having problems with editorial/management. I get that it's frustrating to have to work within certain parameters and/or change your plans abruptly, but does the complaining have to go public? The characters are not "their" characters, no matter how well they've written/drawn them, or how long. Insulting the companies that helped you achieve success seems in bad taste. Let some things remain private.

I don’t know that I agree that things are as cut-and-dried as that. As somebody who spends a considerable amount of time here answering questions about the work, it doesn’t seem out of line for otehr people to do the same. I do think that there’s a level of decorum that ought to be followed, but every individual person makes their choices as to how they want to live and behave, and then people react to them thereafter based on their behavior. But while it would be easier for me on some days, I don’t think maintaining an Iron Curtain of Silence is a healthy thing, either. If there are legitimate problems, sometimes they can only be addressed by bringing them out into the light.
