What do you think about the views & opinions Paul Jenkins has recently expressed in this interview? Specifically in regards to Marvel? (we all know how bad it appears to be at DC) You might not be able to read it yet or all of it but at least get the gist that Marvel is going in a different direction for him. Basically that you guys and him are growing apart since the Disney purchase and the overall professional behavior of editors when the status quo changes from "chasing creators" to not.

I think Paul’s got his perspective and his experiences, and I wouldn’t question that. The one thing I will say absolutely is that he’s totally incorrect when he makes the assumption that any change in our operation that he’s perceiving is due to Disney. Nothing could be further from the truth. Apart from that, I don’t think it’s all that surprising that’s got a thriving film and television and merchandising divisions might be making decisions a bit differently than a company that just shakily emerged from bankruptcy. And I think if you speak to most of the creators who are working for us, you’ll find that they don’t detect the same shift from “chasing creators” to not–that feeling on Paul’s part, I’d have to say, is perhaps more relevant to his own individual situation than a universal one. Oh, and also, I would never have approved that Superman story he tossed off, regardless of what year it happened to be. His DEADMAN book at DC was quite good, though.
