there are a lot of "all-powerful" objects in the marvel universe... the infinity gems and cosmic cube being the 2 most frequently used and sought after. but why do folks like doom and thanos not pay attention to stuff like the forever crystal, the serpent crown, or even the ultimate nullifier.

Possibly they don’t know about them, possibly the downsides of using any of those devices outweighs the potential advantages of them.
