Would marvel ever take up George RR Martins offer of letting him write for you?

We’d be happy to have him write for Marvel, but as I recall–and my memory is spotty, I admit–he wanted some kind of contractual guarantee that anything he wrote wouldn’t ever be retconned or erased from continuity, and that’s not really something that we can guarantee.
