  • You answered my question (about 8 minutes ago) about big events and quality vs just keeping up to date. I'd just like to respond to your answer with "Fair enough." It's a fair point, at the end of the day it's all about money rather than producing great books. I don't mean that as an Insult (although, it sounds like one) because Marvel still has great titles that sell well. It's just the nature of big companies. Thank you for answering, anyway

    You act as though great books and money are separate agendas, whereas we operate under the assumption that they are the same–that the material that’s going to attract and keep the biggest audience is going to be the best material. Your question frames this as though we produce crummy stories because, i don’t know, our readers are all dopes who only want lowest common denominator material. I don’t think that’s the case at all–of you, or of your fellow readers.
