That’s a good question. My actual title is Senior Vice President/Executive Editor. But on any book that I directly edit, I take the credit of Editor. On those titles, other folks assist me. Some of those folks, like Daniel and like Lauren Sankovitch, have the actual title of Editor. So it doesn’t seem right to credit them as Assistant Editor or Associate Editor on a book like that. So the With credit indicates that I’m the primary Editor on that particular title, with Daniel or Lauren or whomever acting as the secondary Editor. Does that make sense? Titles on which I might get an Executive Editor credit are ones on which I may have worked in an advisory of supervisory capacity.
