  • HI Tom, I just read the original New Avengers, I know I'm behind. Just really got lost after the first 12 or so issues when Civil War started. I didn't buy that series and it seemed the series had abrupt (not sure on how to describe it ) shifts in the story. I stopped reading the series because I know there's more minis tied to the series. Is the rest of the series going to be like that. Should I wait to get the rest of the minis before I get started again? thanks

    I think you should be able to read NEW AVENGERS without having to read CIVIL WAR, although some of it might make more sense if you had read CIVIL WAR.
