I think DC and Marvel both have their problems. Using Saga as an example. If Brian K Vaughan brought that to Marvel I can't see it being published no matter how good it is with Avengers, X-Men, Wolverine or Spiderman somehow involved. Whereas DC would probably publish it and announce it's cancellation by issue 3 or replace the creative team by issue 3. Fair critiscm?

I disagree. I think that if Brian had brought SAGA to Marvel, we might very well have been open to publishing it through the ICON imprint. Not everything we do has to be a part of the Marvel Universe.
