  • Can I just say how awesome it is to have one of Marvel's top editors fielding all sorts of constructive comments and inane criticisms from fans on a daily basis without batting an eyelid. Thank you for putting your neck out there each new day. It's much appreciated. Back in 1980, Marvel published "Francis: Brother of the Universe" featuring art by John Buscema and Marie Severin. It's been out of print since 2006 and I was wondering if there was any way to get it collected and/or reprinted?

Thanks! I’m not certain, actually. I believe that FRANCIS was produced as part of a deal with a Christian publisher of some sort, so the deal that was made might prevent us from being able to reprint it. Or it might not–I haven’t looked into the situation especially, I just vaguely recollect that it was different from a typical Marvel comic, and was more like a custom publishing book.
