There are usually one or two ideas hanging around in the background of our zeitgeist that we like but for which we haven’t found either the proper time or the proper creative talent. And eventually, those elements fall into place. For example, we’d been talking about some manner of Avengers vs X-Men storyline for several years–but didn’t work out the specifics of what it would be until events lined up in both the Avengers world and the X-Men world to allow us to do it.
