  • Given the events of AvX and now Age of Ultron, Wolverine is clearly someone that Cap cannot trust. He runs off and is always attempting to kill everyone regardless of whether its necessary or even helpful to do. Clearly not Avengers material.

    I don’t know if I’d agree with you completely here. A few points: 1) Cap’s strike at Ultron in the future met with calamity, so if Wolverine wasn’t doing what he’s doing, pretty much the day would be lost. 2) Cap and company said not to go back into the past, but then they left Wolverine behind there with the time machine. In that action, there’s at least a tacit understanding as to the likelihood of what he was going to do next–so much so that Sue stayed behind confident that she could predict his next action. So I don’t know that this truly constituted Wolverine going off the reservation. But we’ll see what the final three issues hold.
