Tom, I get that Age of Ultron has a much bigger footprint and more eyes upon it but I feel like we've seen distopian "Big Brother Tony" 3 or 4 times in the last few years between Dark Avengers and Exiles and I swear a few other places. It's sort of a logical conclusion but it's also been explored quite a bit. I know Bendis might not have read these stories but I bet you did. It's very weird to me.
I think you’re jumping to conclusions based on a single page-sized panel. Read AGE OF ULTRON #8 and you’ll see what’s what. We’re not just telling the same story over again.
