Tom, if I were to purchase the new Wolverine series, would you view it as a sign that I enjoy the character (which is false) or that I want to support the creators (which is the truth)?

I wouldn’t parse it down to that degree, where I’d attribute it to one or the other, but rather to all of those elements in some proportion.
