Okay, there's something I'm confused about that I hope you could answer for me. Reading through old Captain Marvel comics, I came across a bizarre scene where it turn out Annihilus is a bunch of tiny Annihiluses in a suit. There's been far too much stuff since then that shows that to not be the case anymore, so I was wonderwing: was this ever explained anyway?

I believe it was, though exactly where is eluding my memory at the moment. Might have been something that was dealt with in the earliest Handbook. There are all sorts of strange story and character doglegs in the books of that era.
