My big problem with Havok's speech is that mutants ARE different. Period. The guy next to me whether he is gay, black, Muslim or all three combined is still just an ordinary joe. Havok channels cosmic energy and can level a city block with a whim just by pointing at it. So he's different. It's not the same as being different ethnically or sexually. It couldn't be more different actually.

I don’t know how that conflicts with the idea that Havok wants to be judged by his actions rather than a condition of his birth, but there you have it.
