  • Regarding the Havoc speech uproar. When I read his speech, I thought he was basically saying the mutant version of: "I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." --Martin Luther King, Jr. I didn't think he was calling for assimilation. I think what he was calling for was for people to get to know him as a person, not *just* as a label (mutant). But I'm a white woman, so maybe I'm not seeing what others are.
