in reference to your fallacy statement, I bought two other marvel titles- daredevil and x-factor, neither of which came with a digital copy and they were both 2.99- hulk 5 which came with a digital copy was 3.99. so why the price difference then? they seem to have the same amount of pages of story and art.

We have books that are and have been priced at $3.99 rather than $2.99 for a variety of reasons involving the cost of production and overhead. As an added value, we added the free digital copy to those titles at a certain point. But the digital copy isn’t why those titles are priced at #3.99, and their price wouldn’t go down if the digital copy was removed.
