Hi Tom! I enjoy AoU, but I understand that people think it's an alternative reality. Some stuff are hard to believe for the 616, like the new Black Widow's face... Moreover, some character like Wolverine have new costume. So, my question is not where AoU takes place, but when ? Before Marvel Now! ? After ? In the same time ? Thanks for your answer. :)
It takes place now, in the same way that the latest issues of AVENGERS and WOLVERINE and WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN and SAVAGE WOLVERINE all take place now. There’ll ultimately be a sequence of events that you can suss out when all of the stories are completed and done–but as they’re happening, they’re all in essence happening now for the reader. AGE OF ULTRON is no different. It happens now. Not tomorrow, not yesterday, now.
