Tom, did the decision to kill Genis Vell come down from editorial or was it just Fabian's idea? Also, based on my reading of that issue I already know a way that he could be brought back.

I’m pretty sure that we asked Fabian to do that given some other Captain marvel stuff that was going on at the time. And sure, it’s comics, he could always come back.
