What do you it is about Scott and Emma together that make's them so compelling? It's suprising because I don't think anyone would have put those two character's together 15 years ago and it really works. They aren't even together anyone and it still works.

I don’t know, the contrast maybe? I’m maybe the wrong person to ask, because while it’s nothing that I’m angling to do anything about or anything, I feel like nobody ever sold me on the validity of that relationship within the stories themselves. Scott and Emma were just suddenly kind of together at one point, and in all the time since, I don’t feel like I’ve ever read a story that I’ve felt genuinely, emotionally, about what he sees in her and vice versa.
