When you made the decision to kill Genis-Vell in THUNDERBOLTS, did you guys have in mind a way to bring him back or was it intended from the outset to be permanent? (Keeping in mind that permanent is relative in comics, obviously.)

We didn’t specifically build in any sort of back door, no. But it’s comics, so there’s always a way. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Fabian had a method in mind even as he was writing that issue.
