Tom, I am skipping the Ultron event due to my dismal record with enjoying event comics. Simply stated, I never seem to. I'm not a big spectacle guy. But I am a Marvel zombie who supports many Marvel titles, and I wonder if I'm going to be at a total loss to understand what's going on in the Marvel Universe post Age of Ultron. Do you anticipate this being any sort of problem for the handful of Marvel fans like me who will be sitting out the Age of Ultron?
Well, first off, I think you shouldn’t feel bad about skipping any titles or stories that you don’t think are for you. This is entertainment, not homework.
With all of our stories, we try to make them accessible enough that readers can come in at any time. That’s why, among other things, we do our recap pages. So I wouldn’t think that you’d have any more difficult a time of it than you might have after any previous event–AVX or FEAR ITSELF or SIEGE or whatever.
