Don't you worry about confusing readers with three Hawkeyes, two Captain Americas, two Thors, two Spider-Men, two Wolverines and two Icemen? IMO, I would have killed off Steve to let Sam be the true Cap until around 2019, not introduced a new Falcon so Sam would be more special, let Miles die with the Ultimate U, sent the 05 X-Men back to their own timeline and not even bothered with Old Man Clint. Continuity should be simple and easy for new readers. Fact.
