You've talked at length about why Peter shouldn't be married to defend One More Day. What I want to know is why you've kept the original Jean Grey dead for over a decade. What about the character was so wrong that it justifies you keeping her dead?

You don’t need a justification to keep somebody dead, you need a justification to bring somebody back. Jean’s original death was so seminal that I think there’s a general feeling that it should never have been undone. And so, now with Grant having brought her to an end again, nobody is in any rush to reverse that–especially with young Jean Grey now in play.
