So if Star Wars happened a long long time ago in another galaxy, then it is totally plausible for the Star Wars and Marvel Universe to be part of the same universe. 

Ancient galaxy travelling entities like Galactus could appear in Star Wars adventures. A reawakening of the Force could occur in Manhattan. There could even have been a millennia spanning Sith-Kree War.
