>Just read Mockingbird #1. Wanted to let you know that as an *ahem* mature female comics reader, I thought this was the single best first issue I’ve read in ages. There is a depth and breadth to Bobbi’s character that is fantastic, even in a short 20 pages. We are in a great age for strong female characters - like Carol Danvers and so many others - and Bobbi Morse still stands out thanks to her humor and personality. I appreciate a character that is truly feminist in that she is strong, take no prisoners, brilliant, but is also allowed to be sexy and funny, and absolutely still does not come across as someone’s wish fulfillment fantasy. I can’t wait to read more; this is now my first read every month with our shipments. Chelsea Kane and Kate Niemczyk are a golden find and a perfect team - please keep them on this book. Thank you so much for Mockingbird. (oh, and PS - Black Widow #1 was pretty damn awesome too!) >
Glad you enjoyed them both!
