No, that’s not really how it works–and even if it did, splitting the costs still wouldn’t make you as much as just doing a book by yourself. And absolutely nothing guarantees good sales. Maybe an inter-company crossover would sell well, but what does that mean in comparison to a regular book? It likely wouldn’t more than double the numbers.
